If you submitted your Proof of Management (POM) in 2026, AWS has something new for you, and it’s worth paying attention to.
AWS recently introduced the MSP Incremental Growth Incentive, a tiered cash incentive that rewards MSP partners for growing their managed services revenue year over year. This is separate from—and stacks on top of—the existing MSP Benefit for Customer Management you’re already earning.
In plain terms: the more you grow, the more you get paid. And unlike a flat-rate model, this one is designed to accelerate as your revenue scales.
Here’s everything you need to know.

What Is the AWS MSP Incremental Growth Incentive?
The MSP Incremental Growth Incentive is a new addition to the AWS MSP Partner Program, available to partners who submitted their Proof of Management documentation in 2026.
It works by measuring your quarterly year-over-year revenue growth across the customer accounts included in your Proof of Management submission and paying out a percentage of that incremental growth based on which tier you land in.
Think of it as a progressive reward model. Each dollar of growth is assigned to a tier, and each tier has its own payout rate. The higher your growth, the higher the rate applied to each incremental dollar.
How MontyCloud Helps You Capture This Incentive
At MontyCloud, we work with MSPs to do exactly what this incentive rewards: grow managed services revenue without adding headcount.
Our platform helps you:
- Identify growth opportunities across your managed accounts, so you’re not leaving revenue on the table
- Deploy AWS services in response to new opportunities, helping you convert demand into eligible revenue that drives incentive growth
- Automate day-to-day cloud operations, freeing your team to focus on higher-value work and new account expansion
- Scale your managed services practice efficiently without hiring for every new customer you bring on
- Track and optimize the metrics that directly influence your incentive tier
The MSP Incremental Growth Incentive is a real financial opportunity, but only for partners who have the operational foundation to actually grow. That’s where we come in.

What You Need to Stay Eligible
To receive payouts, you’ll need to:
- Maintain your MSP Validation throughout the year.
- Continue submitting Proof of Management; AWS expects ongoing submissions.
- Grow your aggregate managed services revenue across the accounts in your 2026 Proofs of Management.
Why This Changes the Growth Equation for MSPs
Most partner incentive programs reward volume. You get a flat percentage of what you bill. This program is different because it specifically rewards acceleration. The faster you grow relative to last year, the higher the return on each new dollar.
That creates a meaningful incentive to not just maintain your current accounts, but to actively expand them, bring on new customers, and drive up managed services revenue in a measurable way.
For MSP executives thinking about where to focus energy in 2026, this program makes a strong case for prioritizing growth over optimization.
